Unapologetically Latina: Your Identity Is Your Power was born from one powerful observation: so many of the women we work with, despite their accomplishments, influence, and drive, carry a quiet tension they cannot quite name.

They have built extraordinary careers and meaningful lives, often excelling across many roles, yet something feels fragmented. Not broken. Not lacking. Simply not fully integrated.

What is often perceived as an absence is not a missing piece at all. Nothing essential is lost or incomplete.

The challenge is integration.

True leadership is not about adding more credentials, titles, or external validation. It is about bringing together what already exists. It is the integration of who you are with how you lead. It is the alignment of your inner world with your outer impact. It is allowing your identity, values, purpose, and leadership to move as one, rather than as separate parts competing for space.

This book is an invitation to that integration.

Between us, we bring more than fifty years of experience as Latina executives navigating multinational organizations, demanding roles, families in different parts of the world, and the unspoken expectations that might have shaped how we show up. 

Together, we founded Women Activating Women (WAW - www.womenwaw.net) with a clear and unapologetic mission: build the space we wished we had earlier in our lives and careers, where Latina women can name their truths, understand their patterns, connect with their identity, and reclaim the parts of themselves that get muted in the pursuit of success. A space of community, belonging, and reflection. A space to feel seen and not alone.
